The popular computer and laptop company, HP is all set to finally launch its new Windows 10 smartphone, dubbed as Elite X3. The HP Elite X3 smartphone was first unveiled in February at the MWC 2016 event, but the company did not reveal its price back then.
Key Specifications and features:
The HP Elite X3 is the company's high end smartphone that packs in impressive specifications. It is a big screen device sporting a 6-inch Quad HD resolution display. It is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor, paired with a whooping 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage, with support for a microSD card with capacity going up to a massive 2TB.

On the photography front, the phone features a 15MP rear snapper and an 8MP front facing camera. Also the phone comes with IP67 rating, which makes it water and dust resistant.
Another key highlight of the phone is that is features both, an iris scanner as well as a fingerprint scanner. The Iris scanner has been placed on front, whereas the fingerprint scanner is sits on the back side.
Other features in the phone include a large 4150 mAh capacity battery to meet the power demand of the massive QHD display. As far as the software is concerned, the Elite X3 is designed around Continuum feature that offers an interface of a full Windows computer with mouse and keyboard on the smartphone itself.
HP Will ship the Elite X3 smartphone with Desk Dock, which will include DisplayPort, two USB Type-A, one Type-C and RJ-45 Ethernet port, to use the phone to serve a desktop. It will also come with Mobile Extender with a separate battery, a 12-inch 1080p display, and a keyboard, to help user use the phone as a laptop.

Price and availability:
As far as pricing is concerned, knowing that the phone packs in high end specs, the HP Elite X3 might be priced for 699 Euros, roughly translating to Rs 52,000. However, nothing can be confirmed until the company makes an official announcement.
As far as availability is concerned, the phone is expected to be launched in September in the US and UK, and might get launched in India by the end of this year, however we don't have concrete information on its launch time line for India.
