Apple is all set for the "It's Glowtime" event, where the Cupertino-based tech giant is most likely to unveil the next-gen iPhone 16 series comprising - the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

People who are planning to buy last year's iPhone 15, can now grab it from Flipkart around Rs 66,500 (including bank offers) instead of its launch price of Rs 79,990. Similarly, the next-gen iPhone 16 is also expected to be priced the same as the iPhone 15. All four models of the iPhone 16 series are expected to be powered by the A18 chip, as opposed to the iPhone 15 series, which used different chips for pro and non-pro models. Another report suggested the A18 Pro could power the Pro variants of the iPhone 16 series.

To recall, the iPhone 15 is powered by the A15 Bionic chip and comes with Dynamic Island and a 48MP main camera. While the camera hardware is expected to be similar to the iPhone 16, the camera setup will be arranged vertically rather than diagonally and likely be capable of recording spatial videos. The display size of the iPhone 16 might be similar to the iPhone 15.

This time the iPhone 16 is expected to come with at least 8GB RAM. Another highlight will be the support for Apple Intelligence on the standard variant, which is limited to the iPhone 15 Pro and the Pro Max models. The battery capacity of the iPhone 16 is also expected to be similar or slightly larger compared to the iPhone 15.
