For past few years, there has been a buzz around the Virtual Reality a.k.a VR, which has come a long way now. Moreover, this 2016 seems to be the year for Virtual Reality, when the companies like Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR and the HTC Vive Pre takes it to the main stream.

What is Virtual Reality (VR)?

As per the Wikipedia definition, " VR is a computer technology that replicates an environment, real or imagined, and simulates a user's physical presence and environment in a way that allows the user to interact with it. In an attempt to make VR an affordable experience for Indians, desi handset maker Karbonn has introduced Karbonn VR glasses with the newly launched VR Smartphone range - Karbonn Quattro L52 and Karbonn Titanium Mach 6.

This VR glass is made up of sturdy ABS plastic fibre, which offers life-like viewing experience for variety of users including entertainment buffs, gamers, educationists, fashionistas, archeologists. etc. Both the devices come pre-embedded with a library of engaging games and video content to delight the customers. Users can also create their own VR videos using the pre-embedded VR app.

Coming to the pricing of the device, the Karbonn Mach Six carries a price tag of Rs. 7,490, while the Quattro L52 4G LTE retails at Rs. 8,790.

Speaking on the launch Mr. Shashin Devsare, Executive Director, Karbonn Mobiles says, "Virtual reality is the next big growth area in consumer technology. As per a recent report, the global Virtual Reality market is expected to touch an estimated $120bn by 2020.
