At the 2Future event, LeEco has announced the launch of two smartphones - Le 2 and Le Max 2. These smartphones were launched in the Chinese market in April and now they have made their way into India.
The 4 GB RAM variant of Le Max 2 is priced disruptively at Rs 22,999 along with 1-year LeEco Membership that is worth Rs 4,900 that includes all the special contents. On the other hand, the 6 GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 29,999. The Le Eco Le 2 is priced at Rs 11,999 along with the 1-year LeEco Membership worth Rs 4,900.
The devices can be purchased from LeMall from today. Le Max 2 will be available from Flipkart from June 28, 2016 and the date for Le 2 will be announced soon. The registrations for both smartphones will start from June 20, 2016.
LeEco Le 2 bestows a 5.5-inch Full HD 1080p In-Cell display and it employs a 1.8 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 652 processor that is teamed up with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage space that cannot be expanded. In fact, it carries the highlight of being the first smartphone to be equipped with Snapdragon 652 chipset in India.
Based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow topped with EUI 5.8, this LeEco smartphone has a 16 MP powerful rear-facing snapper with dual-tone LED flash, phase detection autofocus and f/2.0 aperture. Also on board is an 8 MP front snapper with f/2.2 aperture and 76.5-degree wide angle lens.
It is a beautifully and symmetrically designed that comes in Rose Gold color variant. Also, it is relatively lighter and thinner than the other devices in the market.
Talking of the LeEco Le Max 2, the smartphone is given a 5.7-inch Quad HD 1440p SuperRetina display. The SuperRetina display with 2K resolution in the Le Max 2 will give the best VR experience to the users.
The Le Max 2 is easier to hold and narrower than the other high-end models and it is feather light as well weighing at just 185 grams.
The LeEco Le 2 smartphone has a 3,000 mAh battery along with quick charging and the 3,100 mAh battery in the Le Max 2 with SuperCharge that can render 3.5 hours of talk time in just 5 minutes of charge.
Le Max 2 is powered by the most efficient 2.15 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor along with with a huge 6 GB RAM to handle multitasking in the most efficient way. This makes the device 40 percent faster and better in terms of performance than any other device in the market. It features 64 GB of internal storage space that is not expandable. It comes in a 4 GB RAM and 32 GB storage variant as well.
This smartphone includes a 21 MP rear camera with OIS and an 8 MP front-facer on board for capturing selfies. The camera is fast and better making it capable of clicking challenging.
Both the smartphones come with 4G VoLTE connectivity and support all the Indian 4G bands. They also feature a USB Type-C port on board.
The world's first Sense ID 3D fingerprint sensor is used on the Le Max2 that will let you unlock your phone despite your finger being a little messy.
These smartphones come with the CDLA Type-C Earphones for the first time in India without 3.5 mm jack. This technology renders superior and immersive audio experience. The CDLA Type-C earphones carry a price tag of Rs 1,990.
