Lenovo is all geared up to take the popularity of its affordable K3 Note smartphone a step higher with the launch of its successor K4 Note. The company has been teasing their upcoming Note series smartphone for quite some time and has today came up with yet another teaser poster to hint at its storage capacity.
The Chinese tech major has been touting the upcoming smartphone to be a Killer phone with powerful specs. Though its specification details have not been disclosed officially, the company teasers have suggested that this phone will be a metal-clad device with flagship-level specifications. With the K4 Note, Lenovo is eyeing to pit against the upcoming budget flagships from Xiaomi amongst many others.
The Lenovo K4 Note smartphone is coming on January 5, 2016, which suggests that it would be showcased at CES 2015. While the event is still two weeks away, here we take a look at the rumored specifications of the Lenovo K4 Note.
Lenovo does not seem to be leaving any stone unturned for the K4 Note. The company wants to give its smartphone an edge by using the metal body. The company's teasers have been hinting a metal-clad smartphone.
Considering that Lenovo's K3 Note featured 5.5-inch 1080p display, we expect the K4 Note to have nothing less than a full HD display. Though, we are not sure of the display size of the phone.
Previous reports have suggested that the Lenovo K4 Note will come with a Mediatek Helio X10 SoC on the inside, which will make it a powerful competitor against its rivals.
According to the teaser, the Lenovo K4 Note will sport higher RAM than its predecessor. The 3GB of RAM is likely to be accompanied with 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, with support for microSD card. 3GB of RAM is still not common in affordable smartphones, and hence will give the K4 Note an advantage over others.
The camera is one of the key features on smartphones. Though, there are not any details available about the phone's camera, we expect it to feature a 13MP rear snapper and an 8MP front-facing camera.
It is expected that the K4 Note will flaunt a Fingerprint Sensor on the back panel. If this happens, the K4 Note will get an edge over its competitors, considering very few phones in the affordable segment have this feature.
Considering that most smartphones now run Android Lollipop out of the box, and K3 Note also come with the Lollipop iteration, the phone will most likely feature this version of the Android. However, we might just get a surprise by Lenovo and it announces the phone with The Marshmallow update.
