Micromax has gone all Nuts, Guts and Glory; at least that what they try to portray by launching not one but a total of 19 new smartphones including the Micromax Canvas 6 Pro at an event in Delhi.

The Micromax Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro are the new generation of flagship smartphone from the home-grown brand priced at Rs 13,999 and aims to compete with some Chinese counterparts which are dominating the Indian market for quite some time. Micromax has however confused many a buyer already by launching two new smartphones with so similar names. One of the major issues with a phablet these days, is the grip. With devices getting larger day by day, they are becoming unwieldy too and tough to hold single handedly. To improve this experience, Micromax Canvas 6 Pro has made use of a matte polycarbonate shell with an Ebony Black colour.

Like the LeEco Le 1S and recently unveiled Creo Mark 1, the Micromax Canvas 6 Pro is powered by a Helio X10 octa core chip with cores clocked at 2.0GHz each. This is complimented by a PowerVR G620 (Rogue) GPU and is capable of playing almost all graphics intensive gaming titles.

This is the first phone from Micromax to come with 4GB of RAM. Apparently Micromax had gone all nuts with the RAM inside their flagship device at the launch event - possibly inspired by their new Nut, Guts, Glory anthem. It's worth noting that the Micromax Canvas 6 Pro is the only device in its price bracket to come with 4GB of RAM. Only other device that comes near it is the Asus Zenfone 2, but that again costs slightly higher than the Rs 13,999 price tag of Canvas 6 Pro.

Micromax Canvas 6 Pro comes with a 13MP rear autofocus camera which comes equipped with 5P Largan Lens. Apart from that the camera is complimented by a PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus Sensor) for company claimed faster focusing times of just 0.1 secs. There is a 5MP Selfie Snapper upfront with 4P Lens, capable of shooting 85.7-degree wide angle selfies.
