These Mid Range Smartphones Performed the Best in October 2023, According to AnTuTu
AnTuTu recently released a list of the top 10 best performing smartphones in October 2023. However, the benchmarking platform also announced the 10 best mid-range phones in October 2023 in terms of sheer performance.
While the top-best performing flagships all used Snapdragon chipsets, the mid-range is the exact opposite with all but the top two spots on the list opting for a MediaTek chip.

Best Performing Mid Range Smartphones October 2023 (Part 1)
The Realme GT Neo 5 SE took the top spot with an overall score of 1,154,600 points. The Realme GT Neo 5 SE model at the top of the list is powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 SoC paired with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
The second, and only other phone to use a Qualcomm chip, on the list was the Redmi Note 12 Pro Turbo, which managed 1,152,325 points. Redmi's top-tier mid-range device is powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chip paired with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
The iQOO Z8 with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC took the third spot on the list with an overall score of 962,629 points. The iQOO Z8 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Best Performing Mid Range Smartphones October 2023 (Part 2)
Another Vivo entrant to this list is the S17 Pro, which managed an overall score of 951,223 points. The Vivo S17 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Completing the top five is the iQOO Neo 7 SE, which managed an overall score of 950,981 points. The iQOO Neo 7 SE also uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chip paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
The Xiaomi Civi 3 with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra made the top 10 list, positioned at number six with an overall score of 892,704 points. The model of the Civi 3 tested on AnTuTu featured 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Best Performing Mid Range Smartphones October 2023 (Part 3)
The Redmi K60E took the seventh spot with an overall score of 891,175 points. The Redmi K60E is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chip paired with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
The OnePlus Ace Racing Edition secured the eighth spot with an overall score of 889,916 points. The OnePlus Ace Racing Edition is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max SoC paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Yet another Redmi entrant on the list was the Note 12T Pro, which managed an overall score of 888,496 points. The Redmi Note 12T uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra chip paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Moreover, it is also the only phone with 8GB of RAM to make the list.
Taking the last spot on the list of best performing smartphones in October 2023 was the Oppo Reno 9 Pro 5G with an overall score of 886,356 points. The Oppo Reno 9 Pro 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max SoC paired with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
