While, following the recent Nougat rollout for the Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Force Droid in the U.S. via the Verizon network, the company has officially confirmed that the latest Nougat update will be made available to Moto Z phones from this week onwards.
Supports Daydream Feature
With the Android 7.0 update, both Moto Z and Moto Z Force will be the first non-Google smartphones to support Daydream feature. The Daydream feature enables high-quality mobile VR on high-resolution displays on the go.
As stated by Motorola, Daydream offers an unprecedented opportunity to dive into a kaleidoscope of experiences. With Daydream, users can explore new worlds, attend a sporting event or concert, enjoy their own personal cinema and could do much more.
Google VR Important
However, users need to purchase the Google VR headset with Daydream View controller in order to experience the unique features. As such, the headset and controller can be purchased via Verizon, Google Play Store or Best Buy in the US.
As of now, there is no word on the availability or the launch of the Google DaydreamVR headset in India.

Check for Notification
Basically, all Moto Z device users should start receiving the notification for the forthcoming Nougat update soon. On the other hand, those who fail to get the notification on their handset for some reason may go ahead and install the same manually by going to Settings >About Phone >System updates and then tapping on Check for System Updates.
Some Pre-requisites
If you want to install the new update then, firstly, you need to ensure that your Moto Z or Moto Z Force device is connected to a Wi-Fi network before downloading the new Nougat update, which might be both time-consuming and resource hungry.
Secondly, users need to verify that their handset has at least 80% battery power. The installation of the Nougat OTA is estimated to take roughly around 20 minutes.
When can You Expect the Android 7.0 Nougat Update
Thus, by visiting Motorola's global portal, all the curious Moto Z handset users can get information on when their phone might be upgraded to Android 7.0 Nougat.
Besides, the rollout dates may vary depending on the carrier partner and the phones model number.
