Following the official announcement of Honor 8 which is on July 8th, now another Honor smartphone has been spotted on TENAA for certification purpose in China. Codenamed EDI-DL00, this smartphone is expected to come in the full metal unibody.

With certification process done, we can expect the launch of this phablet along with Honor 8 on July 11th. Meanwhile, the specifications of this device have also been leaked on the Internet with low-resolution pictures as well.

As per the listing, the so-called Honor EDI-DL00 is expected to sport a 6.6-inch Quad HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels.

Home-made Kirin 950 SoC

Moreover, the listing suggests that this phablet might come powered by an Octa-Core Kirin 950 processor along with Mali T880-MP4 GPU under the hood.

Talking about the storage front, the purported device is said to come equipped with 3GB RAM, 32GB inbuilt memory with an expandable option up to 128GB via MicroSD card.

No dual camer set-up!

In terms of imaging factor, the Honor EDI-DL00 might come with 13MP rear camera, 8MP front camera on board. Also, the listing suggests that this device will be shipped with Android 6.0 Marshmallow on top of EMUI 4.1 out of the box.

If the rumor turns out to be true, the Honor EDI-DL00 will support connectivity options including 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS. According to the report, the Honor EDI-DL00 will be powered by a huge 4400mAh battery with fast charging technology.
