OnePlus 15s vs OnePlus 13s: What Upgrades to Expect From the Next Compact Flagship
OnePlus has started teasing the upcoming OnePlus 15T ahead of its China launch later this month. A new poster shared by the company confirms the phone’s design and color options, while earlier listings and leaks have revealed several hardware details.

At first glance, the OnePlus 15T doesn’t look dramatically different from the OnePlus 13T. The overall design language remains similar, but several internal upgrades appear to be on the way.
For context, the OnePlus 13T launched in China last year and later arrived in India as the OnePlus 13s (review). Based on that pattern, the OnePlus 15T could also launch in India under the OnePlus 15s name, though the company hasn’t confirmed anything yet.
Design And Display
The OnePlus 15T keeps the compact form factor that OnePlus has been focusing on with its T-series models. The teaser poster shows a clean rear panel with the camera module placed in the upper corner.
The phone is confirmed to arrive in a green color option and a darker shade that appears brown or graphite. It is also expected to be available in white.

The display setup remains largely similar to the previous model. Both the OnePlus 13T and the upcoming 15T feature a 6.32-inch flat display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
However, the newer model appears to have slimmer and more symmetrical bezels, which could slightly improve the overall look of the front.
Processor And Performance
One of the biggest upgrades comes from the processor.
The OnePlus 13T runs on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, while the OnePlus 15T is listed with the newer Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. A recent Geekbench listing points to this upgrade.
Storage also sees a small improvement, moving from UFS 4.0 on the older phone to UFS 4.1 on the upcoming model.
Benchmark numbers shared earlier suggest the phone scored around 4.45 million on AnTuTu.
Camera Changes
The camera hardware remains familiar in some areas but sees a few changes.
Both devices feature a 50MP primary camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor. The telephoto camera, however, appears to receive an upgrade.

The OnePlus 13T uses a 50MP telephoto camera with 2x zoom, while the OnePlus 15T is tipped to include a 50MP JN5 periscope telephoto lens offering 3.5x zoom. The maximum zoom range is also said to increase from 50x to 120x.
Battery And Charging
Battery capacity is where the biggest upgrade appears.
The OnePlus 13T includes a 5,850mAh battery with 80W wired charging. The upcoming OnePlus 15T is confirmed to feature a much larger 7,500mAh battery.
Charging speeds also increase to 100W wired charging, and the phone adds support for 50W wireless charging.
Other Hardware Changes
A few additional hardware improvements are also expected.

The OnePlus 15T moves from an optical fingerprint scanner on the 13T to an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. Durability also improves with an IP68/IP69 rating compared to the IP65 rating on the earlier device.
On the software side, the phone will run ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.
Expected Launch
The launch date hasn’t been confirmed yet, so we’ll have to wait for more details.
