Oneplus today introduced a new color variant of the company's this year's flagship smartphone, dubbed as OnePlus 3. The company has announced that now the phone will also be available in a Soft Gold colour variant. Oneplus also clears that the 'soft' in the name is used because the gold colour it adorns is not gaudy, instead looks light and elegant. The company also jakes a jibe on its rivals by saying that their 'expertly designed flagship doesn't mess around'.

The OnePlus3 Soft Gold is a limited edition smartphone which will be available in the US starting 12PM (US Eastern Time) from July 26, and be available in Europe, Honk Kong and Canada, from August 1.

The company mentioned in a post that "Don't miss out on this exclusive new color variant, as the Soft Gold edition is available in limited quantities. Strike while the iron is hot!"

As far as its specs are concerned, the Soft Gold variant is no different from the standard variant of OnePlus, which comes with a metal body design and boasts the power of Snapdragon 820 CPU paired with a massive 6GB of RAM.
