The sub 10k price segment in India today offers handsets that have the same set of features and specifications that were once offered by high-end premium smartphones.

If you have been searching for a sub 10k mobile phone that delivers unmatched multimedia performance and lasts longer than every other handset, OPPO A5s is the perfect choice.

Priced at just Rs. 9,990, OPPO A5s packs in all the latest innovations- a big display, best-in-class battery life;smooth multitasking, gaming and top-end camera performance. Let's dig in more to understand why!

6.2-inch HD+ Waterdrop Display

Videos and games look stunning on the 6.2-inchesHD+ waterdrop screen of OPPO A5s. The HD+ display comes in the 89.35% screen to ratio and boast a resolution of 1520x720-pixels. The screen's design draws its inspiration from a water droplet and allows for an immersive and uninterrupted visual experience while you stream videos, play HD games, browse web or simply read a book. Compared to OPPO A5s, the rival devices such as Samsung Galaxy J6 are still stuck with dated displays surrounded by thick bezels on all four sides.

Massive 4,230 mAh battery unit for long-lasting battery life

Battery life is of utmost importance for today's generation who is always on-the-move. OPPO A5s ensures you never run out of power while using the phone during a busy day. The unrivalled 4,230 mAh battery unit of OPPO A5s can easily last for two days on a moderate usage. As the handset uses smart AI algorithm optimizations and a low power-consumption MTK6765 processor, the battery lasts for an entire day even if you stream HD videos, play games, and perform all other day-to-day phone tasks.

OPPO A5s supports up to 13.5 hours of video playback, which is insane and is also best-in-class. Rival smartphones such as Vivo Y91, Samsung Galaxy J6, Asus Zenfone Max series, etc. couldn't last that long on one full charge cycle. Galaxy J6 is backed by a meager 3,000 mAh battery unit which is not at all sufficient for today's usage patterns.

Hardware- Powerful and Intelligent MediaTkHelio P35 SoC

OPPO A5s is the first device in India with the MediaTek Helio P35 chipset, which is built on TSMC's advanced 12nm FinFET technology. The processor is powered by a powerful octa-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU operating up to 2.3GHz clock frequency. For exceptional performance and rich connectivity, this processor focuses on a power-efficient design delivering up to Cat-7 speeds. With OPPO A5s, you will not experience any call drops even in the busy metro cities in India. The chipset powering OPPO A5s supports TAS 2.0 smart antenna technology which optimizes the signal quality at lowest power use.

The faster clock frequency (2.3GHz) CPU and 2GB RAM enables several applications to run seamlessly at the same time.

Gaming is another aspect where OPPO A5s ensures no performance slowdown. The smartphone uses PowerVR GE8320 GPU that runs up to a speed of 680MHz to smoothly and effectively render high-end graphics.

Snappier and powerful than the competition

Samsung Galaxy J6 uses an Exynos 7870 processor and the Vivo Y91runs on MediaTek Helio P22 chipset. The processors used by both the Galaxy J6 and the Vivo Y91 are slightly underpowered; giving the Oppo A5s an upper hand in the hardware department.

13MP + 2MP dual-lens rear camera and 8MP front beauty camera

OPPO has a long history of camera focused handsets. The company's phones perform fairly good in the camera department, be it rear camera or selfie camera output. The OPPO A5s sports an 8MP front camera working on F2.0 aperture with natural and personalized beautification options.

For rear, OPPO A5s sports a 13MP+2MP dual-rear camera setup. The 2MP depth sensor creates pleasing bokeh effectto let you experience high-end camera experience in budget price-point. This is enabled by the smart MTK P35 CPU which comes equipped with a hardware depth engine. Moreover, to ensure best-in-class image output in challenging light conditions, the primary camera on OPPO A5s uses a 5P lens.Importantly, the camera setup also applies multi-frame anti-shake technology to ensure a smoother, more stable video shooting experience.

Android v8.1 Oreo topped with ColorOS 5.2.1

Oppo A5s runs on Android Oreo v8.1 with ColorOS 5.2.1 UI overlay. With Color OS 5.2.1 skin you get some handy features such as built-in video editor, Music on Display, Smart scan, Smart Bar, etc. The smart software feature also allows you to reply to texts and transfer files during game play and video streamingby using the Smart Bar.
