Oppo launched the Find N2 and the Find N2 Flip Android smartphones late last year. Google has just launched the Pixel Fold, its first-ever clamshell-style foldable Android smartphone.

Needless to mention, both the Oppo Find N2 and the Google Pixel Fold are premium Android smartphones with two screens, one of which folds in half. Let's compare the specifications and features of the two flagship foldable devices to see which premium 5G-enabled Android smartphone could be a better choice.

Oppo Find N2 Vs Google Pixel Fold: Comparison

Oppo Find N2 Vs Google Pixel Fold: Cameras

The Oppo Find N2 features a triple camera system on the back, headlined by a 50MP primary lens paired with a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 32MP telephoto lens with 2X optical zoom.

There are two front-facing cameras, one each for the outer and inner display and both are 32MP resolution.

The Google Pixel Fold too has a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 48MP primary camera, a 10.8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 10.8MP telephoto lens with 5X optical zoom. As it is a foldable Android smartphone, it also features two front-facing cameras. The one on the outer display has a resolution of 8MP, while the inner display has a 9.5MP resolution.

Both phones pack an impressive camera setup. However, the Pixel Fold has an edge in optical zoom and front-facing video recording capabilities. The Oppo Find N2, on the other hand, can record slow-motion videos at 480 FPS. Interestingly, the Pixel Fold can record 4K videos using the front-facing camera even though the resolution of both cameras is a lot lower than the Oppo Find N2.

Oppo Find N2 Vs Google Pixel Fold: Battery

The Oppo Find N2 is powered by a 4,520mAh battery pack that supports up to 67W fast charging.

The Pixel Fold packs a slightly larger 4,821mAh battery, which promises to provide longer usage time. However, Google's first foldable smartphone supports only 30 wired fast charging, which is less than half the speed Oppo Find N2 support.

Oppo Find N2 Vs Google Pixel Fold: Which One To Buy?

The Oppo Find N2 and Google Pixel Fold are undoubtedly flagship-grade, premium clamshell-style foldable Android smartphones. They offer comprehensive connectivity options, including 5G support, Wi-Fi compatibility, and USB Type-C ports.

The Pixel Fold has wireless charging capabilities, a feature the Find N2 lacks. Both devices feature side-mounted fingerprint scanners and stereo speakers.

Needless to say, both smartphones being compared pack a lot of features and premium hardware. Hence, it is a little difficult to declare a clear winner.

The Oppo Find N2's base variant's price starts at $1146 while the Google Pixel Fold pricing begins at $1799. Simply put, the Find N2 is a lot more affordable than the Pixel Fold and wins in terms of pricing and the value for money it offers.
