OPPO Reno11 5G vs Honor 100 5G: Spec-to-Spec Comparison
November 23rd was a busy day for OPPO and Honor, as they both released their respective upper-mid-range devices, the Reno11 5G and the Honor 100 5G. Both phones have excellent hardware and are comparable in many ways. So, which of these new devices should you get? Let's find out.

The OPPO Reno11 5G has a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, which provides vibrant visuals and smooth interactions. The Honor 100 5G also has a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, but it has a peak brightness level of up to 2,600 nits. While both phones offer immersive viewing experiences, the Honor 100's higher brightness may make it stand out, especially in well-lit environments.

Processor and Performance
In terms of performance, the Reno11 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 SoC, while the Honor 100 5G uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. Both chipsets are capable performers, but the Dimensity 8200 has a higher Antutu score and an 18% faster CPU clock speed (3100 MHz vs 2630 MHz). The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 is a newer chip, however, having been released this year, while the Dimensity 8200 was released last year.

The Reno11 5G runs the latest Android 14 operating system with ColorOS 14 on top. The Honor 100 5G, on the other hand, runs Android 13-based MagicOS 7.2. The choice of which phone to buy ultimately depends on the user's preferences for software features and customization.

OPPO Reno11 5G
- The regular OPPO Reno 11 starts at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs. 29,000) for the base 8GB RAM + 256GB storage version.
- The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at CNY 2,799 (approximately Rs. 31,000).
- The top-end model, featuring 12GB RAM + 512GB storage, comes with a price tag of CNY 2,999 (around Rs. 35,000).
Verdict
On paper, both the OPPO Reno11 5G and the Honor 100 5G present compelling features. The choice between them ultimately depends on individual priorities, whether it be display preferences, camera needs, charging speed, or brand affinity.
