OPPO’s Pioneering 5G Milestones Provide Best of Future-Ready Technologies

The cloud native 5G Core for standalone networks was also tested with OPPO's recently launched Find X3 premium smartphone as OPPO accelerates 5G commercialization through these close partnerships. Even in India, OPPO has been collaborating with the likes of Jio, Airtel, Qualcomm, MediaTek, and others to realize its vision of a smooth and seamless 5G experience for every smartphone user in India.

If all these efforts weren't enough to prove its commitment to developing this future-ready technology, OPPO, as a promoter of 5G, has also filed over 3,700 families of global patent applications, declared over 1,500 families of 5G standard patents to the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), and submitted more than 3,000 5G standard-related proposal to the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP). Add to this its achievement of being among the top ten companies regarding the number of declared 5G patent families in 2021, according to a report issued by leading German research institute-IPlytics.
