Qualcomm recently announced the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, a successor to the SD 8s Gen 3 chip. After all the rumours, it seems like Qualcomm is reserving the 'Elite' branding for its flagship chips. However, the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC will power a new generation of flagship killers.

Following the launch of the new chip, Qualcomm also confirmed that brands like OPPO, iQOO, Redmi, Xiaomi, Poco, and Meizu will be early adopters of the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC. So here's are the first Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 smartphones coming in April and May, 2025.

Upcoming Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 Phones

iQOO Z10 Turbo Pro: The iQOO Z10 Turbo Pro will be the first smartphone to adopt the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. Apart from the chip, the phone is also expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The handset will also pack a 7,000 mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging support. For optics, the iQOO Z10 Turbo Pro will come with a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide lens, while a 16MP selfie camera sits up front.

Redmi Turbo 4 Pro: The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is yet another phone that will use the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. As of now, details surrounding the phone are still scarce, although it is expected to ship with a massive battery, upwards of 7,000 mAh. It could also feature a dual-camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor. Lastly, the Turbo 4 Pro is expected to sport a 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

OPPO K13 Pro: Another phone to adopt the new Snapdragon chipset is the OPPO K13 Pro. As of now, details about its launch are still scarce, although it could arrive as early as this month. The OPPO K13 Pro will also feature a 7,000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. It could also opt for an FHD+ AMOLED display. The OPPO K13 Pro is also expected to use a 50MP primary rear camera.

Poco F7 5G: The Poco F7 5G could be the first smartphone to use the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip globally and in India. The Poco F7 is expected to sport a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. For optics, the Poco F7 could feature a dual-camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens. The Poco F7 is also expected to get a massive battery (7,000 mAh) and fast charging support (90W).

Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro/ Xiaomi 15 Civi: Finally, the Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro is also tipped to use the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. It will feature an ultra-slim 7mm thick body but pack a massive 6,000 mAh battery. The Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro could also feature a 50MP primary sensor, 12MP ultrawide shooter, and a 50MP periscope lens. It is also expected to feature a 1.5K quad-curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro will make its debut in India and globally as the Xiaomi 15 Civi.

The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset is set to power a wave of flagship killers, delivering top-tier performance at competitive prices. With brands like iQOO, Redmi, OPPO, Poco, and Xiaomi embracing the new SoC, Meizu also joins the list with its upcoming Meizu 22 Note, further expanding the lineup.
