Design and Build
Both the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Poco X6 Pro feature flat displays, although if you are a fan of curved screens, you'd be better off going with the Motorola Edge 40. Moreover, the Motorola Edge 40 also features an aluminum frame as opposed to plastic on its other two competitors. The Motorola Edge 40 also features an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance as opposed to just splash resistance on its competitors.
While all three phones feature a plastic back, Motorola and Poco have the option for a leather finish. Lastly, all three smartphones feature glass protection on the front, although the Redmi Note 13 Pro uses superior Gorilla Glass Victus, while the Poco X6 Pro opts for Gorilla Glass 5 and the Motorola Edge 40 features Japanese-branded NEG glass.
Display
Both the Poco X6 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G feature 1.5K OLED screens with similar peak brightness and refresh rates. However, the Poco X6 Pro's screen supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision as opposed to only the latter on the Note 13 Pro.
The Motorola Edge 40, on the other hand, sports a smoother 144Hz display but drops down to a Full HD+ resolution. It also lacks Dolby Vision support and isn't as bright as its competitors. But it does offer stylish looking curved edges.
Performance
In terms of performance, the Poco X6 Pro 5G emerges as the clear winner as the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra chip paired with the LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage deliver the best performance of any smartphone under Rs 30,000.

While the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC and MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chip deliver solid mid-range performance, it is still nowhere close to the Dimensity 8300-Ultra. Given its specifications, the Poco X6 Pro will be able to run most mobile titles on their highest settings.
Cameras
The Redmi Note 13 Pro's 200 MP camera sensor should have the edge over the Poco X6 Pro and Motorola Edge 40. All three main camera support OIS, while Motorola also offers a higher resolution ultrawide lens. The Motorola Edge 40 also offers better consistency between the main and ultrawide cameras.
Since we haven't tested the cameras on all three devices, it is hard to call a winner, although we'd prefer Motorola if given the choice. That being said, the main camera on the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G could be quite formidable. Finally, Motorola also features a better 32 MP selfie camera than its competitors.
Software
When it comes to software, Motorola has a clear advantage over the competition thanks to its perfect balance of customization and cleanliness. The Redmi Note 13 Pro's MIUI, on the other hand, does come with its fair share of bloatware. Lastly, we are yet to test out HyperOS on the Poco X6 Pro, although preliminary results are mostly positive.
Battery
The battery capacity of both the Redmi and Poco smartphones are pretty similar, although the Edge 40 has a much smaller battery, which may give it some trouble passing the all-day test under heavy usage. While all three phones offer similar wired fast charging support, the Edge 40 also comes with wireless fast charging support.
