Realme 9 Pro Vs Realme 10 Pro: Specs, Display, Features, Compared

Realme has been actively launching smartphones in the midrange category for quite a few years now. The brand's products usually compete aggressively against those from Xiaomi. The Realme 9 Pro and the Realme 10 Pro were launched in 2022, and both smartphones support 5G networks in India. Incidentally, they have quite a few similarities despite belonging to different series. Let's compare the specifications and features of these midrange 5G-enabled smartphones to see which one could be a better choice.
Realme 9 Pro Vs Realme 10 Pro: Display
The Realme 9 Pro has a 6.6 inches Full HD+ IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels. The 1080p display has a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 400 nits.
The Realme 10 Pro has a 6.72 inches Full HD+ IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The 1080p display has a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 680 nits.
Both smartphones feature an IPS LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. However, the Realme 10 Pro device has a higher peak brightness, which means it should have better visibility under sunlight.
Realme 9 Pro Vs Realme 10 Pro: Performance
Both the Realme 9 Pro and the Realme 10 Pro are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, which is paired with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage.
Although both smartphones have the same chipset, Realme may have significantly tweaked the Snapdragon 695 in the Realme 10 Pro for performance, camera equipment, and battery endurance.
Realme 9 Pro Vs Realme 10 Pro: Cameras
The Realme 9 Pro has a triple camera setup on the back, headlined by a 64 MP f/1.79 main camera, which is paired with an 8 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide lens, and a 2 MP f/2.4 macro lens with autofocus. There's a 16 MP f/2.05 front-facing camera, aided by "Screen Flash" for selfies, video calls, and face unlock.
The Realme 10 Pro has a dual camera setup on the back, but it has a much bigger 108 MP f/1.8 wide-angle lens, which is paired with a 2MP f/2.4 depth lens with autofocus. There's a 16 MP f/2.45 wide-angle front-facing camera, aided by "Screen Flash" for selfies, video calls, and face unlock.
It is rather strange to see Realme reduce the number of camera lenses on the Realme 10 Pro. The brand has, however, embedded a larger 108 MP camera lens on the smartphone. Still, the setup could be a limiting factor in the amount of visual data that the device can capture.
Realme 9 Pro Vs Realme 10 Pro: Battery
Both the Realme 9 Pro and the Realme 10 Pro have identical battery packs. Both smartphones have 5000mAh batteries, and both devices support 33W wired fast charging.
It is important to note that both Realme phones not only have the same battery packs but are also powered by the same Qualcomm chipset. This means the performance and battery endurance of both devices would remarkably similar.
Realme 9 Pro Vs Realme 10 Pro: Which One To Buy?
There's little doubt that the Realme 9 Pro and the Realme 10 Pro aren't exceptionally different from each other. In fact, barring the rear camera setup, most of the hardware and features are nearly identical.
