Realme GT 6 vs Realme GT 6T: Design, Display, Build
The Realme GT 6 and GT 6T look identical down to the two-color options. The only difference is the addition of a single LED flash module and macro camera on the Realme GT 6.
The Realme GT 6 also features a glass back as opposed to a plastic rear panel on the Realme GT 6T. Moreover, the screens on both phones are protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and an IP65 rating for protection against dust and water.
The display specifications on both phones are also the same as they use 8T LTPO Pro-XDR displays. They support 2160Hz PWM Dimming, Rainwater Smart Touch, and an instant touch sampling rate up to 2500Hz. The one differences is that the Realme GT 6's panel also supports the Dolby Vision format.
Realme GT 6 vs Realme GT 6T: Performance, Battery
In terms of raw performance, the difference between the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 is negligible. Both chips deliver flagship-grade gaming performance, although the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 on the Realme GT 6 far greater AI performance.

Both phones also feature an identical cooling system. We'd give this round to the Realme GT 6 as its chip is more optimized for better sustained performance. The battery capacity and charging speed on the Realme GT 6 and Realme GT 6T are also identical. The two phones also run Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0.
Realme GT 6T vs Realme GT 6: Cameras
While both the Realme GT 6 and GT 6T feature a 50 MP primary camera, the former uses the Sony LYT-808 sensor, which is larger than the Sony LYT-600 on the latter. Both phones retain the 8 MP ultrawide lens, but the Realme GT 6 has a third 50 MP Samsung JN5 telephoto camera.
Additionally, the Hyper Tone Engine is available on both smartphones, but the Realme GT 6 also gets some AI camera tricks like AI Night Vision, AI Smart Removal, and More. The incorporation of a telephoto camera will also ensure better portrait photography on the Realme GT 6.
Both phones feature a similar 32 MP selfie camera that supports 4K video recording at 30fps. The image signal processor on the Realme GT 6 coupled with its AI features, larger primary sensor, and telephoto lens gives it a major advantage in the camera department.
Realme GT 6 vs Realme GT 6T: Which One Should You Buy?
The Realme GT 6 is undoubtedly the better of the two phones, although it also costs Rs 10,000 more than the GT 6T. So is the Realme GT 6 worth an extra Rs 10,000? The Realme GT 6 and 6T are essentially the same phone. The Realme GT 6T is targeted more towards users who demand the best bang for their buck in terms of performance.
On the other hand, the Realme GT 6 brings a formidable camera setup and a ton of AI features, while its chip offers better peak sustained performance and power efficiency. Are these features enough to justify the extra Rs 10,000? We think they are!
The Realme GT 6's competition offers a ton of versatility in the camera department as compared to the Realme GT 6T's rivals. This makes photography an integral part of the overall experience in the sub-45K segment. However, if you aren't too concerned about photography and just want a powerful smartphone, then paying the extra Rs 10,000 isn't worth it.
