Realme recently launched its first smartphone to incorporate the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset in the form of the GT 7 Pro. The Realme GT 7 Pro has made its debut in China as the most affordable smartphone to use the latest flagship Snapdragon chip.

However, it isn't the only affordable flagship to use this chip. The recently launched iQOO 13 also takes advantage of the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, while falling in China's sub-CNY 4,000 segment. So let's find out, how does the iQOO 13 fare against the newly launched Realme GT 7 Pro in this full specifications comparison.

iQOO 13 vs Realme GT 7 Pro: What's the Difference?

Both phones feature glass protection on the front and back as well as aluminium frames. The Realme GT 7 Pro and iQOO 13 also feature unique camera islands, although the former opts for a curved display, while the latter settles for a flat panel. Both Snapdragon 8 Elite smartphones come with an IP69 rating for resistance to dust and water.

While both Realme and iQOO have equipped their flagships with LTPO OLED displays, the former uses a Samsung Eco2 OLED panel, and the latter opts for an 8T LTPO OLED screen by BOE. However, the iQOO 13 offers a higher resolution and refresh rate. On the flip side, the Realme GT 7 Pro's display supports Dolby Vision and has a higher peak brightness.

The iQOO 13 opts for a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.5 aperture, while the GT 7 Pro feature a 16MP selfie shooter with the same aperture. In terms of camera hardware, the iQOO 13 has a clear advantage here, primarily in the ultrawide and selfie departments.

The difference between the Realme GT 7 Pro and iQOO 13, both in terms of pricing and specifications, are negligible. Both phones feature a premium build and eye-catching design, although the Realme GT 7 Pro's micro-curved screen offers the perfect balance of form and functionality.

On the flip side, the iQOO 13 has better camera hardware, a better display, and comes with its own display chip for a better gaming experience. There's a minor difference of CNY 300 (roughly Rs 3,500) between the two phones, so we'd lean towards the iQOO 13 if made to pick between the two, primarily because its advantages come at a minuscule cost.
