Design and Build
All three phones feature a similar design, opting for a flat display with round edges to make the devices more comfortable to grip. However, the camera modules and finishes of all three smartphones differ, with iQOO the only brand offering a dual tone colour scheme, although the black variant of the Realme GT 7 certainly looks like the more polished of the three.
In terms of durability, the OnePlus 13R has a leg up over the competition opting for a glass back and aluminium frame as opposed to the plastic back and frame on the Realme GT 7 and iQOO Neo 10. Both OnePlus and Realme use Gorilla Glass 7i on the front, while iQOO opts for Schott Xensation Up glass. Finally, the Realme GT 7 is the only one of the two phones to offer flagship-grade resistance to dust and water.
Display
While both the OnePlus 13R and Realme GT 7 use LTPO OLED displays, the iQOO Neo 10 opts for a standard AMOLED screen. All three displays support HDR, although the Realme GT 7 and OnePlus 13R take things one step further with Dolby Vision support. While the Realme GT 7 features the highest peak brightness on paper, the iQOO Neo 9's screen reaches 2,000 nits in HBM.
Performance
In terms of performance, all three phones are pretty evenly match, although the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e offers a slight edge over the competition. We have tested the Realme GT 7, iQOO Neo 10, and OnePlus 13R and it is safe to say that Realme comes out on top in most gaming scenarios and is better at thermal efficiency. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and 8 Gen 3 are also evenly match, although the former offers slightly better performance GPU performance.
All three phones come with their own custom cooling systems as well, although the iQOO Neo 10 uses a dedicated Q1 chip to achieve 144fps gaming at high resolutions with lower latency. Considering all three devices offer nearly similar levels of performance, we'd have to give the win to the iQOO Neo 10 here as it is far more competitively priced than the Realme GT 7 and OnePlus 13R.
Cameras
However, where the iQOO Neo 10 compromises is in the camera department as it offers dual rear sensors compared to the triple-camera setup on the Realme GT 7 and OnePlus 13R. The cameras sensors on the Realme GT 7 and OnePlus 13R are more or less similar down to ultrawide and selfie cameras.
The OnePlus 13R's triple-camera setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX 906 primary sensor with a with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS, an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultrawide lens, and a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN5 telephoto shooter with an f/2.0 aperture and 2x optical zoom. Up front, there's a 16MP Samsung ISOCELL S5K3P9 selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture.
The Realme GT 7's triple-camera setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX 906 primary sensor with a with an f/1.88 aperture and OIS, an 8MP OmniVision OV08D10 ultrawide lens, and a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN5 telephoto shooter with an f/2.0 aperture and 2x optical zoom. Up front, there's a 32MP Sony IMX615 selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture.
Finally, the iQOO Neo 10 opts for a dual-camera setup that includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and OIS support and an 8MP ultrawide lens with an f/2.2 aperture. Up front, the Neo 10 gets a 32MP selfie camera with an f/2.5 aperture.
While the camera systems on the Realme GT 7 and OnePlus 13R are pretty evenly matched, the iQOO Neo 10 does fall short of the mark here. Not only does the iQOO Neo 10 lack the telephoto shooter but its primary sensor is smaller than the ones used on the GT 7 and OnePlus 13R.
All three phones can record 4K video at 60fps on their primary sensors, although the OnePlus 13R can also do it on the telephoto shooter. However, the Realme GT 7 is the only one of the three phones that can capture 1080p video at 60fps on the ultrawide lens. Lastly, both Realme and Vivo offer 4K video recording at 60fps on their front cameras as well.
The Realme GT 7 and OnePlus 13R clearly offer more versatile and capable camera systems compared to the iQOO Neo 10. While all three phones perform well in primary camera and video recording tasks, the lack of a telephoto lens and a smaller main sensor on the Neo 10 puts it at a disadvantage. If camera performance is a priority, the Realme GT 7 or OnePlus 13R are better choices.
Battery
Both the Realme GT 7 and iQOO Neo 10 are equipped with a 7,000 mAh silicon carbon battery, while the OnePlus 13R settles for an older lithium 6,000 mAh cell. We haven't run both phones through a rigorous battery test, although we'd expect the Realme GT 7 to come out on top due to its power-saving LTPO display.
On the other hand, the smaller battery on the OnePlus 13R puts it in last place, which is hard to believe considering its 6,000 mAh cell. The Realme GT 7 and iQOO Neo 10 also offer significantly faster charging than the OnePlus 13R, while their silicon carbon batteries are also better equipped to handle higher temperatures. Additionally, Realme and iQOO also offer Bypass charging support for reduce heat generation when charging.
Software
Both the Realme GT 7 and OnePlus 13R ship with Android 15 out of the box, but long-term software support sets them apart. Realme and OnePlus promise four years of major Android updates and six years of security patches, giving these phones a clear edge in longevity over the iQOO Neo 10, which offers three years of Android upgrades and four years of security updates-standard for most midrange Android devices.
When it comes to software skins, it's Realme UI 6.0 versus Funtouch OS 15, both of which offer extra features but also include some bloatware. Realme UI has grown more polished over time, but ultimately, personal preference plays a big role here. That said, Oxygen OS 15 on the OnePlus 13R delivers the cleanest and most refined experience, striking a strong balance between customization and minimal bloat.
Realme GT 7 vs OnePlus 13R vs iQOO Neo 10: Conclusion
The Realme GT 7, OnePlus 13R, and iQOO Neo 10 each cater to different user priorities in the premium mid-range segment. The iQOO Neo 10 stands out for users focused purely on performance and gaming, especially given its aggressive pricing and dedicated gaming chip. Meanwhile, the Realme GT 7 offers the best value for content creators and mobile photographers, thanks to its superior camera flexibility and power-efficient LTPO display.
On the other hand, the OnePlus 13R strikes the most balanced profile overall, offering a premium build, clean software experience with OxygenOS 15, dependable cameras, and long-term software support-making it the ideal all-rounder. Choose based on what matters most to you: raw power, camera versatility, or a well-rounded experience.
