Samsung Galaxy A57 vs Galaxy S25 FE: What Are The Differences?

Both phones are pretty similarly designed with flat displays and box-shaped frames with rounded edges. The only difference here is that the S25 FE features independent camera lenses as opposed to a single camera island with the three sensors.

Additionally, they also feature Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection on the front and back as well as an aluminum frame. The A57 and S25 FE also feature an IP68 rating for resistance to dust and water. Finally, the Galaxy S25 FE weighs more and is slightly thicker than the A57 5G.

Despite being over a year older, the Exynos 2400 SoC on the Galaxy S25 FE offers better CPU and GPU performance over the newly released Exynos 1680 chip on the A57 5G. And while the Galaxy A57 5G has a slightly larger battery (100mAh), the LTPO technology on the S25 FE's screen should give it the better battery life in theory.

In terms of cameras, the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE clearly offers greater versatility with its dedicated telephoto lens and stronger video capabilities, including 8K recording and higher frame rates. The Samsung Galaxy A57 5G, while capable, is more limited, especially with its macro sensor and lower video performance.

Samsung Galaxy A57 vs Galaxy S25 FE: Conclusion

When comparing the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE and Samsung Galaxy A57 5G, the gap between the two is hard to ignore. The S25 FE delivers a clear all-round advantage, whether it's performance, camera versatility, or long-term usability.

Even at its official price of Rs 59,999 (8GB/128GB), the S25 FE makes a strong case for itself, but current deals bring it down to around Rs 50,749, making it an even more compelling buy over the A57 5G.

That said, even if you opt for the higher 8GB/256GB variant at a Rs 9,000 premium, the S25 FE remains the better investment. With a dedicated telephoto lens, superior video capabilities, and a more powerful chipset, it not only caters to enthusiasts but also ensures smoother performance and longevity over time.
