After the launch of the Samsung A8 back in August, the Korean electronics giant seems to be in quite a hurry to launch the successor of the device. Apparently the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A9 was first got leaked way back in March and since then it had taken a center stage of rumors.
The Galaxy A9 is expected to be officially announced in the near future, the smartphones with model number SM-A900 budded as Galaxy A9 will become the one of the Samsung's largest smartphones till date.
Well, there is no word about the price and availability of the Galaxy A9, and neither on what date it will be released. Bigger and better display
According to earlier rumors the Galaxy A9 will features a 5.5 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080p, which is smaller than the Galaxy A8's 5.7 inch display. But, the latest leaked information claims that the Galaxy A9 will sport a 6 inch Super AMOLED display with a full-HD screen resolution.

The battery is the highlighted features of the Galaxy A9. The handset is rumored to be packed with 4000mAh battery, which will hopefully provide longer usage times. Further for connectivity, the smartphone is equipped with LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and other standard connectivity options.

The smartphone will features a 13 megapixel camera on the back, an 8 megapixel front-facing camera. In the storage department, it has 32GB of internal storage and a microSD card support for expandable storage.
The Galaxy A9 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 or either 652 octa-core processor, with a clock speed of 1.8GHz. The device is expected to have a fingerprint scanner embedded in its home button, and will run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system with Samsung's TouchWiz UI on top.

The Galaxy A9 is expected to to built around a metal frame similar to the Galaxy A lineup smartphones. The Galaxy A9 is rumored to measure 161.7 x 80.9 x 7.4 mm.
