Samsung Galaxy Note 6 flagship will be out in the third quarter of this year. Along with this, even the Galaxy S7 edge+ is speculated to be launched at the same time. With the rumors regarding the Galaxy Note 6 piling up quickly, here is a roundup on the same.
Samsung Galaxy Note 6 pegged for July launch with Android N
The Galaxy Note 6 is likely to be launched in July this year, which is a bit earlier than the late August launch followed usually. As per a Korean website The Bell, the Note 6 might have a mid-July launch.

It is also speculated to run on Android N OS out-of-the-box. However, this means that Google should be ready with the final version of the OS by that time. There is a possibility as the Developer Preview is available.
Galaxy Note 6 to have improved Snapdragon 823 SoC
One of the rumors claim that the next Note will feature an enhanced processor, The new chipset might be the Snapdragon 823 SoC that seems to be the upgraded version of Snapdragon 820 in the S7 and S7 edge.
The Snapdragon 823 is listed to have a speed of up to 3 GHz and support 8 GB of DDR4 RAM.
Note 6 to feature a 5.8 inch display
A leaked screenshot alleged to be that of the Galaxy Note 6 reveals that the device might arrive with a 5.77 inch display with QHD 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution.
The screenshot further reveals that there could be 6 GB of RAM and 32 GB of default memory support on board. But this is contradictory as it is listed to feature an Exynos 8890 SoC.
The imaging department of the Note 6 is said to come with a 12 MP main snapper along with the Super OIS Plus system. This means better image stabilization.
It is likely to be equipped with S Pen and come in two variants - 64 GB and 128 GB of storage space.
Note 6 might boast an iris scanner
The Samsung Note for this year might come with the water resistance feature as it will come with the IP68 certification. Also, there will be an iris scanner on board the device for security purposes.

Around 200 pieces of Iris Cam were spotted on an Indian import database. These were to undergo testing, but there is no concrete evidence to prove the same.
USB Type-C port might be present
The USB Type-C interface is bringing a great transition in the smartphone industry. The upcoming Note might arrive with this feature.
Samsung is expected to give both USB Type-C and USB 3.1 to the Note 6 to support high-speed data and improved power delivery.
A massive 4,200 mAh battery to juice up the Note 6
While the Note 6 is speculated to be one of the big offerings this year, it is believed to be powered by a 4,200 mAh battery.
This gigantic battery might pump in at least 48 hours of backup to the device. It is also claimed to come in a version that supports 256 GB of default memory capacity.
Galaxy Note 6 might come with a curved screen
As per the latest details, the Galaxy Note 6 might be launched in two variants - one with a flat and regular display and the other with a curved screen.
However, there appears to be no change in the screen size and resolution that will be 5.8 inches and Quad HD 1440p.
