Samsung Galaxy S25 Series Design (Expected)
As noted, the Samsung Galaxy S25 series will likely include the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra models. However, some reports also suggest a Galaxy S25 'Slim' could join this time. It remains to be seen if it comes at the same time as the launch.
Leaked images of protective cases for the Galaxy S25 lineup hint at refined design choices for each model. The Galaxy S25 Ultra was spotted with a large cutout on the back to house quad rear cameras, while the Galaxy S25 and S25+ cases feature a more streamlined triple-lens layout.
Both the Galaxy S25 and S25+ are expected to get rounded edges, while the Galaxy S25 Ultra is tipped to come with slightly rounded edges on the middle frame and the rear cameras are arranged in the same pattern as the Galaxy S24 Ultra. All models will likely have power and volume buttons on the left side. Even the Galaxy S25 series is expected to feature a slimmer and sleeker profile compared to its predecessor.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Series Features (Expected)
Both the S25 and S25+ are expected to be powered by Samsung's in-house Exynos 2500 and the Snapdragon 8 Elite, respectively. They are tipped to feature the same display sizes as their precursors - 6.2-inch and 6.7-inch, respectively.
On the other hand, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is rumoured to come with a 6.86-inch AMOLED display and the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which could be paired with up to 16GB of RAM. The Ultra model, expected to lead the lineup in terms of battery size, might come with a significantly larger capacity. Conversely, the standard Galaxy S25 could be equipped with a 4,000mAh battery, while the Galaxy S24 Plus might feature a 4,900mAh battery.
Despite the differences in battery capacity, all three models are likely to offer 15W wireless charging capabilities. However, when it comes to wired charging speeds, there might be a point of contention for some users. The standard Galaxy S25 is rumoured to come with a 25W charging capability, on the other hand, the Plus and Ultra variants are expected to support 45W fast charging.
On the software front, the Samsung Galaxy S25 series is likely to ship with Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box and 'Galaxy AI'. For imaging, the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus are likely to offer the same camera sensors as their predecessors, featuring a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. For selfies, they will get a 12MP front camera.
On the other side, the Ultra variant is likely to offer a 200MP primary sensor complemented by a new 50MP ultra-wide sensor, a 10MP 3x telephoto sensor, and a 50MP 5x telephoto sensor. Upfront, it might opt for a 12MP camera sensor. According to rumours, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Series could also feature a smaller yet more advanced telephoto camera.
Recently leaked SIM trays' images of the Galaxy S25 and the S25+ hint both models will get fresh new colour options -- Black, Green, Purple, Blue, and White. On the other side, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is tipped to come in three colour options namely -- Titanium Blue/Black, Titanium Jade Green, and Titanium Pink/Silver.
