Samsung Galaxy S7 To Come In January With Sony Camera Sensor And Snapdragon 820 [Rumor Roundup]
The Samsung Galaxy S6 has only been on sale starting this year, and its already time that rumors have started talking about the next smartphone.
We have seen many leaks and rumors about the company's next flagship smartphone - the Galaxy S7. However, the unveiling of Galaxy S7 is still several months from now, but the rumors mill have already started hinting the release date and the specification of the Samsung's next flagship.

Meanwhile, the current flagship Galaxy S6 came up with a fresh design and some great features that made the South Korean giant to hold back its top position in the smartphone market.
Samsung usually announces its flagships smartphone at MWC in Barcelona, but the latest rumors suggest that the company will announce the handset early 2016. Samsung in talk with Sony
Samsung has been working on its own camera technology for some time now. The current flasghip with ISOCELL camera sensors are doing great. But, according to the new reports, Samsung is in talk with Sony over Xperia Z5 camera for its Galaxy S7.
The leak came from sources on Chinese social network Weibo. Further, the rumors claims that Samsung will either use Sony sensor or its own ISOCELL sensor, depending on the processors used in it: Snapdragon or Exynos. However, rumors also claims that it will use different sensors in different models for different regions.
Qualcomm's chip Galaxy S7
Samsung ditched Qualcomm's chipset for its high-end smartphone this year. The company wanted to use its own Exynos chipset in its devices. But, rumors suggests that, Samsung will once again use Qualcomm chips inside its next flagship - Galaxy S7.
According to a report by SamMobile, Samsung wants to use the Snapdragon 820 and is keen to do R&D on the chipset in order to test the overheating issues.
Samsung Exynos 8890
Adding further hint for the Galaxy S7 launch, sources from South Korea claims that Samsung will start the production of the next-generation Exynos 8890 chipset by the end of 2015. The report came from several sources including Business Korea, SamMobile and the Korea Herald.
Earlier rumors claims that the chipset was codenamed as M1 or Mongoose, which is the company's first chip built using its own custom core architecture instead of ARM hardware.
Flexible OLED display
Samsung has finally making plans to introduce flexible device in 2016. The Weibo, which claims the so-called Project Valley is being tested and the company aims to release in January, 2016. The South Korean giant has already released a concept video for the flexible devices and said it is intended to introduce flexible devices to market next year.
ClearForce vs 3D Touch
Apple recently launched the iPhone 6s with a big features called pressure-sensitive display 3D Touch, which allows to perform different actions depending on how hard users press the glass. Apparently, Samsung might have similar plans for its Galaxy S7. The Chinese social networking, Weibo claims that Samsung plans to use with it calls - ClearForce display tech to offer the similar pressure-sensitive gesture as in iPhone 6s 3D Touch.
However, Samsung's ClearForce tech may offer even more complex control input than Apple's 3D Touch including speed scrolling and specific touch sensitivity for gaming.
Camera
A new report from a Korean publication, the Galaxy S7 will come with a dual camera setup. Samsung will take the advantage of dual-camera setup, something like HTC One M8 and Huawei Honor 6 Plus. The AnTuTu benchmark shows that the next flagship will features a 16 megapixel rear camera with a 5 megapixel front-facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy S7 Benchmark
Samsung Galaxy S7 equipped with Exynos 8890 chipset has already been benchmarked. The result clocked at 2.4GHz speed and the test results were impressive, according to the report. The benchmark results were impressive fast than the last-gen Exynos 7420, which is found inside the Galaxy S6.
Design
The current flagship Galaxy S6 has a overhauled design changes and we are not expecting much changes in the upcoming Galaxy S7. Well, there is no specific hint whether the next flagship will come with slim metal form factor or glass build.
Price
The Galaxy S7 price will be pretty high, however, there is no official word about the Galaxy S7 in making or in any other details. We expect that the next flagship will be very expensive and we guess that the price could start around Rs. 60,000.
Release date
Samsung usually unveil its flagship smartphone at the MWC in Barcelona, but rumors suggest that the Galaxy S7 will be unveiled ahead of MWC just like the Galaxy Note 5. According to the new information, the Galaxy S7 will arrive in January or early-February.
