May delivered some of the year's biggest smartphone launches, with the OPPO Find X9 Ultra and Vivo X300 Ultra making headlines by becoming the first Ultra-branded flagships from their respective series to debut outside China. Their arrival marked a significant shift in the premium smartphone landscape, bringing top-tier imaging and performance-focused devices to a wider global audience.

The momentum is set to continue in June. Xiaomi is preparing to bring its popular T-series flagship lineup back to India, while the Redmi Turbo series is also expected to make its Indian debut. Beyond Xiaomi, brands such as Motorola, Tecno, and Samsung are gearing up to launch a range of new mid-range smartphones across global markets, making June another busy month for smartphone enthusiasts and buyers alike.

Xiaomi 17T, Redmi Turbo 5, Redmi 17

The Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro recently made their global debuts this month, although the vanilla 17T is arriving in India on June 4. The Xiaomi 17T features a MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra chip, a triple-camera setup co-tuned by Leica, a 1.5K 120Hz OLED display, and a large silicon carbon battery. We expect the Xiaomi 17T price in India to start from anywhere between Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000. The Xiaomi 17T is priced at EUR 749.99 (around Rs. 83,500) globally.

Xiaomi is also set to introduce its Redmi Turbo series in India this month. While there is no official launch date, the Redmi Turbo 5 will make its debut in India next month. The Redmi Turbo 5 was already unveiled in China with a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra chipset, a 120Hz AMOLED display, a 50MP dual-camera setup, and a massive 7,560mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. The Redmi Turbo 5 price in India is expected to start from under Rs 40,000.

Redmi is reportedly set to launch the Redmi 17 5G in India alongside the Redmi Turbo 5 on June 18. The Redmi 17 5G is expected to feature a Snapdragon 4-series chipset, a 50MP camera, a high-refresh-rate LCD display, and a battery exceeding 7,000mAh.

Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ and Samsung Galaxy A27

The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ is set to make its debut in India on June 4. The Edge 70 Pro+ features a MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Extreme chipset, a triple-camera setup backed by a 50MP periscope lens, a 1.5K AMOLED display, and a sizeable silicon carbon battery. We expect the Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus price in India to start from under Rs 50,000.

Samsung is reportedly preparing to launch the Galaxy A27 in June. Leaks suggest it will feature a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, Android 16-based One UI 8.5, a 6.7-inch FHD+ display, and a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging. The phone may offer up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, alongside a 50MP OIS triple-camera setup. Renders show a familiar A-series design with Light Pink, Blue, and Black colour options.

Lava BOLD N2 5G, Tecno POVA 8, Infinix GT 50 Pro

Lava is launching a new budget smartphone in India next week. The Lava Bold N2 5G is launching in India on June 3 and will be available for purchase through Amazon. The Lava Bold N2 5G is confirmed to launch with Android 16, making it one of India's first budget smartphones to ship with the latest OS. Official images reveal a flat-frame design, dual rear cameras led by a 13MP sensor, and a familiar look.

The Tecno Pova 8 is expected to make its debut in India sometime in June. The smartphone is tipped to feature a 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset, and an 8,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. Other expected highlights include a 50MP dual rear camera setup, a 13MP selfie camera, Android 16, and Tecno's signature rear Matrix Display. The Tecno Pova 8 price in India is expected to start from under Rs 25,000.

Infinix is expected to launch the GT 50 Pro this month as the successor to the GT 30 Pro. The gaming-focused smartphone is tipped to feature a MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultimate chipset, up to 12GB RAM, 512GB storage, and a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery with 45W wired and 30W wireless charging. Other expected highlights include a 50MP OIS camera, liquid cooling, Android 16, and Cyber Mecha-inspired design. The Infinix GT 50 Pro price in India could start below Rs 35,000.

iQOO Z11, Vivo T5 Lite 5G, Realme P4R 5G

The iQOO Z11 5G is also expected to make its debut in India sometime next month, following its launch in China in May. The Z11 offers a 165Hz OLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chip, a 50MP dual-camera setup, and 9,020mAh battery. It will likely debut in India's sub-35K segment. In China, the iQOO Z11 5G costs CNY 2,299 (around Rs 31,350) for the base model.

The Realme P4R 5G is also launching in June and will mark the first time the brand unveils an 'R' branded smartphone in its more affordable P series. The Vivo T5 Lite 5G is yet another budget phone anticipated to debut this June. The T5 Lite 5G will be unveiled as the most affordable smartphone in the T5 series, possibly starting from under Rs 15,000. It is tipped to feature a sizeable 6,500 mAh silicon carbon battery with 44W charging and a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 or 6400 chipset.
