These 5 Reasons Will Make You Ditch the iPhone for Samsung's New Galaxy S7!
Since the inception of smartphone that was kicked off with Apple's iPhone, the war between two operating system doesn't seem to be dying now till now! But the truth is almost all the Android and iOS users stuck with their respective platforms. As per the report, Android platform has retained over 82% of users, while on the other hand Apple has retained 78% of the users.
Recently the South Korean tech giant, Samsung has launched its much-hyped Galaxy S7 series of smartphones at MWC 2016 in Barcelona, Spain. To our surprise, the Galaxy S7 series has lived up to our expectation with few but very important upgrades. The Galaxy S7 series comprises of two smartphones - Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, just like its predecessor.
Moving on to the specifications, the Galaxy S7 comes packed with a 5.1-inch display, Snapdragon 820 processor/ Octa-Core Exynos 8 Octa 8890 SoC, 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, 32GB/64GB inbuilt memory, with the expandable option, 12MP/5MP camera package, IP68 rating and powered by a 3000mAh battery with fast charging capabilities.
On the other hand, the Galaxy S7 Edge also boasts similar specifications except the display size and the battery life. The Galaxy S7 Edge features a 5.5-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED always-on curved edge display and powered by a 3600mAh battery with fast charging capabilities.

Coming to the upgrades, the Galaxy S7 series comes with expandable memory storage option and the IP68 rating (Dust and waterproof resistance), which was absent in the S6 series. On the flipside, the company has reduced the camera sensor from 16MP to 12MP on the back.
Talking about the Cupertino giant Apple, the company has launched its iPhone 6s and 6s Plus last year along with the Apple Watch. Now let's have a look at some Galaxy S7 feature you may wish you had in your iPhone.
Galaxy S7 comes with IP68 rating!
Learning from its past mistakes, the Samsung has finally debuted the waterproofing technology in its latest Galaxy S7 series smartphones. This IP68 rating allows for submersion up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes. We couldn't have asked for more from Samsung for its Galaxy S7 devices.
On the other hand, Steve Job's company is yet to introduce a waterproof iPhone. However, as per the report, Apple is working on iPhone 7 with the waterproof feature. As the information is not confirmed, we have to wait and watch!
Now you can extend your memory!
Even though its predecessor Galaxy S6 fared in build quality and design, it also had a big flaw which is the limited storage option. However, the company has realised it and equipped expandable storage option via microSD card up to 200GB.
It's a known fact that Apple doesn't believe in expandable storage option as the addition of memory card may bring some faulty problems.
Always-on feature to occupy curved display!
As per the report, iPhone 7 will probably get a higher resolution display of 2560 x 1440 pixels, which will match the Galaxy S7 smartphone as of now. However, it is not confirmed the iPhone 7 may or may not come with QHD resolution display.
As far as Samsung's concern, Galaxy S7 comes with QHD Super AMOLED display translating into 534ppi. Moreover, it has a dual curved display, which makes the difference. The Galaxy S7 Edge has 'Always-on Display' feature. The "Always-On Display" permanently shows a clock with notifications, a calendar, or an image on the S7's screen, however, it does not need more battery to stay lit up. As per the company, this edge feature will consume only half a percent of battery per hour.
3000mAh!
On the battery department, the Samsung Galaxy S7 is always ahead than Apple's iPhone. Even though iPhone doesn't consume more battery during usage, it will be an added advantage anyways.
Dual SIM in Apple? Never!
Other features include Dual SIM slot, Corning Gorilla Glass, heart rate sensor and etc.
