These Realme Phones Are Likely to Get Realme UI 7 Based on Android 16 – Is Yours on the List?
Google has already released the stable version of Android 16, and brands are now preparing to bring the update to their own devices. While most companies haven’t made any announcements yet, Realme has quietly stepped forward. In a recent press release (via Gizmochina), the company confirmed that its flagship GT 7 series will be the first in its lineup to receive the Android 16-based Realme UI 7 update.
This marks one of the first official signs of movement on Android 16 from a major Android brand outside of Google’s Pixel ecosystem.

GT 7 Pro Will Be First
Realme stated that the Realme GT 7 Pro will receive the new update before any other device. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which is expected to handle the new version of Android smoothly. After that, the update will expand to other models in the series, including the Realme GT 7 and Realme GT 7T.
So far, Realme hasn’t provided an exact timeline for the rollout. All we know is that the schedule will be shared sometime in the fall.
Next in Line: GT 6 Series
Once the GT 7 series is updated, Realme will focus on its earlier flagship range, starting with the GT 6 and GT 6T. There’s no further detail at the moment, but this step-by-step approach suggests the brand is starting with its most recent high-end phones before moving to older or more affordable models.
No Official List, But Expected Devices Shared
Realme hasn’t published a complete list of devices eligible for Android 16. However, Gizmochina has compiled a likely list based on the company’s past update policies. While unofficial, the list includes most current-generation models across Realme’s major series — GT, Number, Narzo, Neo, P, and C.
If you’re using a Realme device from one of these series, and it launched recently, there’s a fair chance it will receive the update. Still, this is not guaranteed, and users should wait for the official schedule before assuming anything.
