The Lava Blaze 2 5G has a 6.56-inch HD+ (720x1,600 pixels) display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC and also supports virtual RAM.

The Blaze 2 5G runs on Android 13 and is also confirmed to get an upgrade to Android 14 and two years of quarterly security updates. For imaging, there is a 50MP dual-rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. Further, the device packs a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 18W charging.

The POCO M6 Pro 5G can now be purchased starting at Rs 9,499 on Flipkart. The phone comes with a 6.79-inch full-HD+ display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC and runs Android 13-based MIUI 14.

The POCO M6 Pro 5G includes a 50MP AI-backed primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The phone also packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging and an IP53 rating for dust and splash resistance.

POCO M6 5G

The POCO M6 5G is another affordable 5G phone, now selling at Rs 9,499 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage option. Although the phone was launched with a starting price of Rs 10,499.

The brand also announced a parternship with Airtel to offer the POCO M6 5G just for Rs 8,799. The offer is available exclusively for Airtel Prepaid customers.

The POCO M6 5G can be purchased via Flipkart and the brand's official website. In terms of specification, the phone comes with a 6.74-inch HD+ (1,600 x 720 pixels) display with a refresh rate of 90Hz.

The device is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset and there's a 50MP dual-rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera for photography. The device also packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W charging support.

itel P55 5G

The itel P55 5G carries a price tag of Rs. 9,999 for the sole 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The phone can be purchased via Amazon India. Despite being a budget-friendly 5G phone, the itel P55 5G doesn't compromise with features.

The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoCcand features a 6.6-inch HD+ (1600 x 700 pixels) display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. Other features include a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W charging, 50MP dual rear cameras, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio jack, etc.

To note, the leading telecom operator Reliance Jio also partnered with Qualcomm to launch its first-ever 5G-enabled smartphone in the Indian market. The Jio 5G smartphone will be announced under $99 (roughly Rs. 8,200) by the end of 2024.

No other Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) offer a 5G smartphone within this price range. So, it remains to be seen how Jio will compete with the other players in the market.
