    Vivo is all set to unveil another futuristic and power-packed smartphone for Indian consumers, the Vivo V11 Pro. The new mid-range smartphone will be unveiled on the 6th of September, 2018. Like the company's recently launched smartphones - Vivo Nex and Vivo X21, the upcoming smartphone will also sport the revolutionary In-Display Fingerprint Technology. This time around, the new smartphone will feature the 4th Generation In-Display Fingerprint Scanner for much better performance. Besides, Vivo V11 Pro will also feature Dual-Engine Fast Charging and will be powered by the efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE Processor.

    But what truly caught our attention is the 2PD camera. The new Vivo V11 Pro will sport a capable Dual-Pixel rear camera for best-in-class images in its respective price-point. It is the same camera technology that we have tested in the company's top-of-the-line Vivo X21 and Vivo Nex.

    Dual-Pixel: Better Images in Challenging Lighting

    Photography works on light principles. If light is in sufficient amount, the pictures come out to be brighter and better. But what if you are taking a shot from a smartphone in challenging light conditions? Smartphones usually have smaller camera sensors that are not capable enough to let in more light in tricky situations. Result, the images are often blurry and have lot of unwanted noise with poor detailing. This is where Dual-Pixel Technology comes into play. The technology improves low-light camera performance by increasing the number of photodiodes in pixels. These pixels are basically the building blocks of an image.

    As the dual-pixel technology increases the number of photodiodes, the process improves the focus speed of the lens, which in turn improves the sensor's accuracy to capture an object or a scene in uneven lighting. Better the focusing mechanism, better the overall image output in low-light.
