Last week has been a busy and exciting week in the Indian smartphone market as a lot of devices were launched in the country. Especially, the much-awaited HMD global smartphones such as the Nokia 6 (2018), Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco were launched in the country.

These smartphones were initially unveiled at the MWC 2018 tech show in late February. In addition to these, we saw the Meizu Pro 7 and Panasonic Eluga Ray 550 were also launched in the country.

Apart from the Indian market, the global launches had also happened. We saw the Honor 7A launch in the Chinese market's budget price bracket. Then, there were noticeable launches in other product categories too. We came across the Xiaomi 50-inch 4K HDR TV and TV 4C launch in China. Xiaomi introduced the Mi Crowdfunding program during the Mi Fan Festival, which brought in two products such as the Mi Selfie Stick Tripod and Mi Bluetooth Audio Receiver.
