Last week, the smartphone arena has witnessed the launch of some of the much-awaited launches. Not only the global market but also the Indian smartphone market has witnessed some of the notable product launches.

Weekly Roundup: Smartphones launched last week

After several months of rumors and speculations, the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X were unveiled at an event in California this week. While the iPhone 8 duo are the successors to the yesteryear models - iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, the iPhone X is the tenth-anniversary edition model.

The special edition model comes with an OLED panel that is made by Samsung, a bezel-less design, 3D Face ID technology and dual cameras at the its rear.

While this happened in the global market, the Indian market got a Galaxy Note device after two years.

After the launch of the Galaxy Note 6 in 2015, it is the Galaxy Note 8 that has been launched in the country earlier last week. The phablet is priced at Rs. 67,900 and the sales is all set to debut in the coming days.
