Weekly Roundup: Smartphones launched last week (Jan 7th to 13th)

Last week, we came across launches such as Honor View 10, iVoomi i1 and i1s, Samsung Galaxy A8+, three Sony smartphones – Xperia XA2, XA2 Ultra, and L2 at the CES 2018 tech show and more.

Smartphone launches are getting too frequent with several devices being announced almost every week. While this is the usual case, with the recently concluded CES 2018 tech show, the number is no less than before. We came across the launch of three Sony smartphones including the Sony Xperia XA2, XA2 Ultra, and L2 with super-wide selfie cameras at the front. Also, Asus announced the pricing of the ZenFone Max Plus (M1) at the tech show. But the launches do not end with what we saw at the CES.

There were several other launches including the release of the Samsung Galaxy A8+ in India at Rs 32,990 and the Honor View 10 (V10) at Rs. 29,999. In addition to these, the highly teased budget smartphones - iVoomi i1 and iVoomi i1s have also been released in the country at Rs. 5,999 and Rs. 6,999 respectively.
