This week, we came across several notable smartphone launches and some of them were highly rumored devices that had interested many people.

Xiaomi was the first one to kick start the launch spree with the silent announcement of the Redmi 5A budget smartphone. Later, the highly anticipated Nokia 7 was announced in China.

On Monday, Huawei announced the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro flagship smartphones at an event in Germany. Later last week, we came across the launch of the Microsoft Surface Book 2, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, HP ZBook x2, and a few other devices.

This shows us that the launches were not only concentrated in the smartphone space but also in the other categories.

Talking about the Indian market, the notable launch of Micromax Bharat 1 in collaboration with BSNL also took place in the last week. This is feature is meant to give a tough competition to the Reliance JioPhone.
