Samsung Galaxy S7 Rumored For Feb 21 Pre-Order: Here Are The Details
Barely a few weeks are left before the launch of Samsung Galaxy S7 and nearly most of the specs of the alleged device have leaked out. In fact the Korean Electronics giant has already started pre-orders for the upcoming Galaxy S series flagship smartphone. So in case you are planning to pre-orders the device before launch here's all you need to know regarding the flagship smartphone.
Improved QHD display
Well, the Samsung Galaxy S6 came with a QHD display so its natural for Samsung to bundle a similar display in their upcoming smartphone. However, Samsung is tipped go use a superior Super AMOLED panel this time around. But isn't that quite obvious?
Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 or equivalent
Samsung Galaxy S7 will come with the all new Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 display. For those unaware the LeEco Le Max Pro was the first smartphone to be showcased with this new chip at the Qualcomm conference of CES 2016. However it seems that the Samsung Galaxy S7 may indeed turn out to be the first device that's launched with the all new chip. Apart from that the Galaxy S7 will feature a 4GB RAM.
It's however worth noting that Samsung will be using an Exynos 8890 chip inside the S7 in selected markets.
Samsung's own Britcell Sensor
In a surprise move Samsung has apparently taken a cue from Apple as they will be incorporating a new rear camera with lesser number of megapixels. As a matter of fact Samsung will be dumping the Sony Sensor in favour of their own Britcell Sensor. These sensors from Samsung make use of an odd RGW spectrum in place of the popular RGB.
Samsung claims that their all new Britcell sensors with a peak resolution of 12MP can capture greater light than most other sensors presently available in the market. Besides that the lower resolution allows the sensor to capture greater level of details.
Force Touch
Force Touch is the latest display technology thats making a buzz in the industry. This is more so, as Apple has incorporated it in their iPhone 6S. Apart from that ZTE Axon Mini and the Huawei Mate 7S makes use of the Force Touch technology. It is reported that Samsung to will incorporate the display in the Galaxy S7.
Samsung is expected to make some valuable software inputs to make use of the Force Touch technology.
Always on Display
Samsung is reported to sport an Always On display which was spotted in the recent teaser of the LG G6. This new display technology helps to save battery in a big way.
Bigger Battery
Well, the exact battery capacity isn't know as of yet. But it is rumored that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will make use of a larger cell.
