OnePlus as a brand has never failed to disappoint us with their products. The company has always set new benchmarks in speed and efficiency by blending in the perfect combination of hardware and software. And while most of us generally focus on multitasking, battery and camera performance, many will relate to my words when I say that the way we organize the screens of our devices, says more than you might think about who we are.
The displayed wallpaper on our phone's screen is one crucial aspect as it can enable smooth navigation where you can easily find the app icon of your requirement without any hassle. OnePlus has always taken extreme care of this process by giving us soulful wallpapers with every product the company has come up with.
The preloaded wallpapers we see on OnePlus devices are made with utmost care and evoke something special, something innately true about the device. It takes an artistic mind blessed with thoughtful ides to create something special that is loved by people around the globe, irrespective of age, sex and profession. For this, OnePlus relies on Hampus Olsson, the expert artist from Sweden who creates iconic wallpapers for OnePlus smartphones.
Hampus is the man behind the acrylic brush strokes and emotive textures seen on the OnePlus 3, and the 5T's vibrant, abstract close-ups. He currently resides in Goa, India and is innovating with art for OnePlus since the launch of company's early devices. Hampus created the series of official wallpapers for the OnePlus 2, which were loved by everyone.
OnePlus 2 featured a clean, fluid art style with layered colored elevations that made them stood out from the crowd of other phone wallpapers. For OnePlus X, Hampus went with liquid metallic-style wallpapers as default, while the other more experimental ones featuring paint were chosen for the gallery.
Then came the OnePlus 3, where the world witnessed the beautiful acrylic brush strokes placed into a 3D space, to form the shape of a mountain. For OnePlus 3T, Hampus played around with warmer and more intense colour tones to create very abstract and colorful combinations.
One of the most recent devices, OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T showed a shift in style and introduced a floating object with a plain background. These wallpapers have a fluid, simplistic yet very clean feel. Hampus followed two radically different artworks, featuring an icy cave, and another one of hot lava for these devices.
And for the upcoming OnePlus 6, which has already set the ball rolling in the online world, Hampus has utilized his past experience to feature a clean, fluid style with mountainous depths. As far as we know, the Swedan artist has created more vibrant and more suitable composition for the upcoming flagship smartphone from the house of OnePlus.
We don't have to wait for long to see what Hampus has to show to the world this time. The magic through his art will unfold very soon with the launch of the OnePlus 6.
