On Tuesday, Xiaomi announced the launch of the Mi A1 smartphone in India at a price point of Rs. 14,999. The highlight of this device is that it is an Android One phone running on stock Android based on Android 7.1 Nougat OS and features a dual camera setup at its rear.

The Xiaomi Mi A1 is none other than the global variant of the recently launched Mi 5X smartphone that is limited only to the Chinese market.

The Android one smartphone made by Xiaomi will receive the Android 8.0 Oreo update by the end of this year itself making it even more appealing. Also, it will be one of the very first smartphones to get the Android P update that will go official next year.
