    On its Twitter handle, Xiaomi has revealed that it will launch the Mi Note 2 today, October 25. It has also confirmed that the device will feature a dual curved display. While this sounds like a tantalizing feature, there are many more that are a part of the Mi Note 2.

    We have already seen numerous leaks, rumors, and benchmark tests related to the Mi Note 2. A few days back, a leaked PowerPoint presentation revealed all the potential specifications of the upcoming phablet.

    Galaxy S7 edge like design and screen

    The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 was allegedly spotted on the website of a Chinese retailer showing a dual curved screen as the Galaxy S7 edge like design. The screen is expected to be a 5.7-inch panel with QHD resolution of 2560x1440 pixels. It is also rumored to be a bezel-less display.

    Dual-camera setup is enticing

    Xiaomi is not new to introduce dual camera setup on its smartphones. A few months back, Xiaomi Redmi Pro with a rear facing dual camera setup. It is believed that the camera units on the Mi Note 2 will be a pair of 16 MP snappers with Sony sensor and OIS support. Likewise the Mi 5s Plus, the upcoming phablet is said to feature the ClearSight technology of Qualcomm that will let users capture crisp photos even in low light conditions without much noise. The front of the device might feature a 16 MP selfie shooter.

    Snapdragon 821 processor is expected

    The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 will be a hardware prowess with the Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor under its hood. It is expected to feature either 4GB or 6GB RAM and come in three storage options such as 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB.

    Mi Note 2 to get juiced by a capacious battery

    The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 is believed to be powered by a capacious 4,000 mAh battery that comes along with the Quick Charge 3.0 feature that will charge the battery quickly.

    Ultrasonic fingerprint scanner

    While a fingerprint scanner is a confirmed feature that we will see in the Mi Note 2, there are rumors that there will be an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner below the display at the front with the Qualcomm Sense ID support.

    The other features that we might see in the Mi Note 2 include 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC and GPS. It will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based on MIUI 8.
