Gionee Elife E6 Up for Sale At Rs 22,165 in India: Threat to 5 Popular Devices

September brought about a lot of devices to our notice. Leaving behind Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Sony Xperia Z1 that was launched in India recently, Gionee has recently put up its latest handset Elife E6 for sale on onlie retailer Snapdeal at Rs. 22,165. In fact, the device is yet to be officially launched in October 3 in India. Talking about October, Nokia is also all set to launch its 6 new devices on 22nd next month in Abu Dhabi.

 

Since there is a lot of time for us to focus on Nokia's October "Innovation Reinvented" event, lets take a look at the specs of the new device from Gionee that is already selling in India.

Specifications and Features

The successor of the Elife E5, Elife E6 comes with a 5-inch Full HD IPS touch screen display offering a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and stunning 441ppi pixel density. The display is based on one-glass solution (OGS+) technology as well. The device runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS layered with Amigo User Interface and is powered by a quad-core Mediatek MT6589T processor clocked to 1.5 GHz. It is also supported by 2 GB RAM for smooth functioning.

Moving on to camera, there is an industry-leading camera that sports a second generation Backside Illumination Technology, anti-reflection coatings, anti-fingerprint film and finishes off with 5 layers of blue glasses, giving it its powerful 13MP rear camera with f2.2 wide angle lens and BSI sensor, LED flash. It also features 5-megapixel front-facing shooter with 28mm wide angle lens. Both cameras are capable of recording video at 1080p HD quality. It also houses a massive 32GB internal storage capacity.

Connectivity options include 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS. Gionee Elife E6 measures 144 x 69 x7.7mm in dimension and is powered by a non-removable 2020mAh battery.

Other features include a DTS 3D stereo surround sound and Integrated Sound Camber Box and Dual Mic Noise-cancelling Technology. More over, it comes with the premium gesture control features that enables users to answer phones by directly raising it up to their ears. ELIFE E6 comes in a Pearl White and Stunning Black color variant with matching color cases.
