Gionee Elife S5.1 Review: Battery Life and Verdict

In terms of battery, the Gionee Elife S5.1 offers a 2,050mAh battery unit for juicing up the handset. And this is one area where the handset actually shines, compared to its rivals in the market. Sure the overall stature of the phone did make us think that the battery also would be an average business, but it's better than that.

On an average, the handset actually lasted quite the while. We actually managed to churn out a more than decent 7 hours out of the phone with mixed usage that nvolves playing videos in a loop, running rich and heavy games and surfing the web, we found that it will take more than that to take the battery down.

The Gionee Elife S5.1 isn't for everyone. While it will indeed attract the ones that keep fashion above eveything else, for the more techie sorts who understand a bit more about handsets than others, the smartphone might not be the greatest choice ever. While it has its own perks, the issues are far too many and overshadows everything else.

At the moment, the phone is available for a price of Rs. 18,999. However, going by the specs and features, a few might argue that the handset should have been more affordably priced. Even if the phone looks good, its internals will surely come into point if we were to recommend the phone. We say you spend a bit more and invest on the OnePlus One for that matter.
