Gionee Elife S5.5 Review: Processor and Benchmark
Not only is the Gionee Elife S5.5 good looking, it also compliments that good look with equally powerful processor under the hood. The device comes with a Mediatek MT6589 octa-core processor that's clocked at 1.7GHz, with Mali 450MP4 graphics incorporated inside.

And while there's 2GB of RAM supporting the processor and the device, the device only offers you around 9GB of the 16GB of internal storage for use. And that's quite the bad news considering there is no support for memory cards.
However, with that kind of power under the hood, we found out that apps hardly take much time to respond or open. And although we experienced a bit of lag time (say around 6-7 seconds) for opening a game we just downloaded, let us tell you that it was only for the first time around. Later on, it was all the same.

As far as the benchmark test for the device is concerned, AnTuTu has been a big influence in our judgements always, and this time it's no different. And going by what AnTuTu had to tell us about the device, it seems like the S5.5 scores quite highly.

On testing, the score came to 28346, which quite high for any smartphone, apart from the fact that the device was sporting excellent hardware and software mixture that's good enough for games like Asphalt 8 and Dead Trigger 2. The power of an octa core, it seems.
