HTC Desire 616 - Processor
The HTC Desire 616 will be positioned as your everyday device. Being a mid-range handset, the phone is stuffed with a 1.4GHz Octa-Core MT6582 chipset with 8 cortex A7 based cores and Mali 450 MP4 GPU. The device clocks at a lower frequency to control over-heating. But, that's not enough; the handset offers a 1GB of RAM.

In our brief testing, the HTC Desire 6716 gave us no problems when running apps. Even though the device has a fast processor, but at the same time the maker should have added at least 2GB of RAM to make the overall experience superb. For the time being, we've reserved our final verdict.

With 4GB of on-board storage, a microSD card slot lets you expand the memory by up to 32GB, too. Yes, we are highly disappointed to see a mere 4GB of internal memory fitted inside the device.

The HTC Desire 616 speaker pumps out a strong sound, with music playback enough to satisfy music lovers.
As usual there are an array of connectivity options including the microUSB and microSD, Wi-Fi Bluetooth v4.0, FM Radio, Dual-SIM (Regular SIM +Micro SIM), a fast 3G connection and more.
