HTC Windows Phone 8 Devices – What to Expect?

Rumors and Image leaks have been swirling in the tech media world about HTC's three Windows Phone 8 smartphones – HTC Accord, Zenith and Rio.

Recently, images of Accord handset were posted on Twitter by Football, an XDA-Developers forum member. Numerous reports also suggested that Football came up with another render of the upcoming smartphone, which showed the schematics of the HTC Accord confirming the location of the camera, power and volume buttons, the 3.5 mm headphone jack and the USB connection port.

The alleged schematics also revealed the proximity sensor’s placement above the earpiece, the front camera on the upper left and a LED notification to the right of the speaker grille on the front.

Further, HTC Accord is rumored to sport a 4.3 inch Super LCD 2 display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, a 1.5GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8960 chipset, an 8MP rear camera, micro SD card slot supporting expandable memory and NFC connectivity.

On the other end, HTC Zenith could be a flagship smartphone running on Windows Phone 8. It is rumored to sport a 4.7 inch Super LCD 2 display of high resolution, 8 MP rear camera and a quad core processor.

Finally, Rio, the entry-level model is reported to have a 4 inch WVGA display, a 5 MP rear camera and Qualcomm MSM8227 processor.
