HTC One to Receive Android 4.3 Update Starting this Week
Looks like, it's time for HTC One owners to be excited now because President of HTC America, Jason Mackenzie has recently posted a tweet announcing that the HTC One will start receiving the Android 4.3 update along with the latest version of Sense starting this week. However, the updates are said to hit HTC One Developer Edition smartphones. Moreover, the same update is said to reach Canadian HTC One owners by the end of the month.

Good news – the latest Sense experience & Android 4.3 will push to One Dev Edition owners this week & One customers in Canada by month end.
— Jason Mackenzie (@JasonMacHTC) September 23, 2013
Since service providers need to give the final whistle for carrier branded units, specific dates have not been provided as yet. Thus, Mackenzie sent out a second tweet that read "We're still working hard & optimistic for U.S. carrier certification - stay tuned to @HTCUSA for more news soon." But the tweet didn't make any difference.

We're still working hard & optimistic for U.S. carrier certification – stay tuned to @HTCUSA for more news soon.
— Jason Mackenzie (@JasonMacHTC) September 23, 2013
Sadly, there is no information as to whether the update will hit the European nations or not but when I comes to Asia, HTC One users in Taiwan have already reported about Android 4.3 OTA notification.

Regarding Droid DNA. Update and clarification is that DNA customers will get new Sense experiences (w/ 4.2.2) before end of year.
— Jason Mackenzie (@JasonMacHTC) September 23, 2013
Moreover, HTC Droid DNA was also suppose to receive the same update but sadly, Jason Mackenzie tweeted, stating the Droid DNA would be getting all of the Sense 5 features with an Android 4.2.2 update. He further wrote that the update will hit sometime before the end of the year.
There is no information about when the update will come to India as of now but most of the devices from Sony Xperia Line up and Samsung are still receiving 4.2 firmware update. And since Taiwan has already been reported receiving the update, one can at least expect the update to hit HTC One in India soon.
