HTC Re Camera: Camera, Connectivity and Storage
The Re camera, which is helmed as a lifestyle action camera, uses a uses a large 16-megapixel CMOS sensor with an Ultra wide angle lens. The 146-degree f/2.8 lens means you're more likely than not to capture what you were interested in.

At the same time, we found that there's no zoom feature. That simply means that it is impossible to shoot a concert. Image quality is just fine compared to other action cameras in the same league.

The sensor is particularly handy in low light conditions. But, we are looking forward to putting it to the test and hope it will able to live up to our promises.

When capturing a video, the camera does take a couple of more minutes and then it starts recording video at 1080p or 720p at 30 frames per second. Notably, you can record video in a slow-motion mode ( 720p at 120 frames per second ).

The Re camera connects to a your smartphone via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v4.0. The companion app can also be used to remotely control the camera, acting as a wireless viewfinder.

With the companion app you can also activate a time-lapse mode so you can take a series of photos over a period. In our opinion, the app does a great job. Again, the Re is compatible with both Android and iOS platforms.
To store images or videos, the Re camera has an 8GB of native storage, but you further expand it via a microSD card slot up to 128GB.
