Intex Aqua N2 Android Smartphone Launched at Rs 6,990 With Quad Core CPU

Nokia has recently startled phablet makers like Samsung, LG and others by announcing their latest Lumia 1520 and 1320 devices in Abu Dhabi today.

However, in India, Intex Technologies has also launched its new handset called Aqua N2 at Rs. 6,990. This device is the company's latest addition to the Aqua series.

The newly launched Aqua N2 comes packed with a 4.0-inch capacitive touch screen display offering a WVGA resolution of 800 ×480 pixels.

Talking about processing power, the handset features a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 512MB of RAM and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean).

Moving on to imaging technology, the handset features a 5MP Auto Focus Camera with LED flash and 1.3MP front-facing shooter is also present.

Apart from being a Dual SIM (WCDMA + GSM) smartphone with Dual Standby, other connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS.

There is a 4GB internal storage capacity which can be further expanded up to 32GB with micro SD card.

The device which measures 9mm thick and weighs 121.6 grams draws its energy from a 1400 mAh battery

Additionally, the handset also supports over-the-air (OTA) software updates and also comes with a free access to 5GB of cloud storage with Intex Cloud app. It also features Matrabhasha app which support 22 regional languages and other features include Intex Play, Intex movies and more.

The handset comes in Black and White color variants along with the usual mobile accessories. Intex is also providing a free flip cover with the handset as well.

The company claims that the device would be available on 40,000 plus distributors, reseller outlets and more than 42 INTEX SQUARES (exclusive retail stores), several hypermarkets and leading e-commerce portals across India.

Competition

The newly launched Intex Aqua N2 will face a strong competition with most of the homegrown devices like Lava Iris 458q, Karbonn Titanium S1, XOLO Q600, XOLO A500S, Lenovo A390 among others. All these devices come within the same price range and also feature same specs.
