Apple is all set to release the iPhone 5, its highly anticipated sixth generation smartphone in India on November 2, 2012. Already, several online retailer sites have opened pre-orders for the same.

According to the listing on Airtel's online shop, the 16GB Black variant of the iPhone 5 is available on pre-order for a price of Rs 45,500 and the listing claims that the handset will be available from November 2, 2012.

Moreover, the listing also claims that there is a 30 day replacement guarantee and it might have EMI payment options soon.

According to several reports from numerous sources, the listing showed the date of availability as November 11, 2012 initially, however, now it shows as November 2, 2012.

Detailing on the specs of iPhone 5, the handset houses a 4 inch display with a resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels, a new Apple A6 chipset, 1GB RAM, 16GB/32GB/64GB internal memory, 8MP rear camera with iSight technology and 1.2MP front camera.
