Android 5.0 Update: Lava Iris X1 Grand Finally Tastes The Lollipop

    Indian smartphone manufacturer, Lava has rolled out the latest Android Lollipop 5.0 update for the Iris X1 Grand users. The users will get the update by both OTA (Over-the-Air) which is 514.71. Other wise you can go to Menu → Settings → About Phone → System updates. Before updating your phone, make sure, you have backed up all your content from the phone.

    Lava Iris X1 Grand comes with 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. This device is packed with 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor and Mali-400 GPU along with 1GB RAM, 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card slot, 8MP rear camera with dual LED Flash, BSI 2 Sensor, 2MP front-facing camera.

Lava Iris X1 Grand, is priced at Rs. 7,326 and comes in White with Silver, White with Gold and Black.

    On the other hand, Lollipop update comes with new material design which offers a bold, colorful and responsive UI, refreshing notification system. It will also allow the users to see the notification in the lock screen and they will get displayed like banners on the top of the screen.
