One of the leading Chinese tech manufacturer Lenovo's slimmest smartphone offering named Lenovo Vibe X is all set to hit the Indian boundaries on December 17. The tech media world has already been receiving the press invite from the company for the event in Delhi.
But apart from the Vibe X smarthpone, a source close to GizBot has informed that Lenovo might launch "a complete new range of Vibe series in India." Which means, besides Lenovo Vibe X which was unveiled at IFA 2013, the growing smartphone maker could also launch two or more smartphones.
Adding more spice to our new report and authenticity, two smartphones along with Vibe X codenamed S960 have been launched in Russia just today. These include a 6 inch mid range handset Lenovo S930 and a 4.7 inch Lenovo S650.
While the Vibe X boasts an ultra-slim body and a shocking 120 grams of weight, it uses Android 4.2, MediaTek SoC - a quad-core 1.5GHz MT6589T, 2GB of RAM, 5-inch 1080p IPS display that delivers about 440 pixels per inch, Gorilla Glass 3 coating, 16GB of internal storage, 5-megapixel front-facing, 13-megapixel rear shooter and a 2,000 mAh battery.
On the other hand, if Lenovo S930 and Lenovo S650 launch in India they will also boast some pretty remarkable specs.
Lenovo S930 will come sporting a 6-inch HD screen, Android 4.2, 1.3 GHz quad-core CPU MTK 6582, 1GB RAM, 8 MP rear and 1.6 front camera along with 8 GB internal memory with expandable memory option via microSD and 3,000 mAh battery.
Besides, Lenovo S650 will launch equipped with 4.7-inch screen, quad core CPU, Android 4.2, 1GB RAM, 8 GB internal memory with expandable memory option via microSD and 2,000 mAh battery.
As per the international launch, Lenovo S650 comes priced at 11,990 rubles (Rs 23,000 approx), Lenovo S930 holds a price tag of 13990 rubles (Rs 26,500 approx) and Lenovo Vibe X costs around 16990 rubles(Rs 32,000 approx).
Let us inform you that GizBot has already informed our readers in a report published few weeks ago that Lenovo Vibe X handset will arrive in Indian stores during this December 2013 and that too 'before Christmas.' Please note, it was the same source who informed us about the coming of the device and also confirmed that Vibe X will cost anywhere between Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 30,000 during its time of launch, which is very near to the given international price tags.
Stay tuned to GizBot for more update on the matter!
